About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, automating, and operating the infrastructure that powers highly available, large-scale production systems. You'll work with cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and observability platforms to ensure our services remain reliable, secure, and scalable. Collaborating closely with Software Engineers and cross-functional teams, you'll help shape infrastructure architecture, improve deployment processes, and drive operational excellence across the platform. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and best practices.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, availability, and overall system performance.
- Develop and enhance monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure proactive incident detection.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineers to improve platform health, security, performance, and deployment workflows.
- Participate in infrastructure architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
- Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
- Support Customer Support teams by providing deep technical expertise during complex production issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate manual operational processes and improve engineering efficiency.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Production experience with AWS or another cloud platform, along with a strong willingness to quickly develop expertise in AWS.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools, preferably Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid scripting skills using Shell, Python, or another programming language.
- Experience working with containerized environments and container management technologies.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Nomad, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, metrics, and logging solutions, such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, or equivalent.
- Proven experience leading infrastructure projects from design through production deployment.
- Professional proficient in spoken and written English (knowledge of English is required, as the company is international and it is necessary to communicate in English with foreign colleagues daily).
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Java-based services in a production environment.
- Familiarity with distributed SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience configuring and working with NGINX, Kafka, CDN technologies, or DDoS protection solutions.

- Monthly salary from 5000 EUR to 8000 EUR gross/per month.
