DevOps Engineer

About the Position

Playtech's POP unit is looking for a talented and dedicated DevOps Engineer to become a part of the POP product team.

Responsibilities

• Manage configuration and deployments for applications
• Create CI/CD pipelines
• Improve configuration management roles, playbooks, and Helm charts
• Debug and troubleshoot configuration related issues
• Configure monitoring dashboards and alerts for services

Requirements

• Understand the principles of IT systems and system architecture.
• Possess 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Demonstrate a strong Linux and networking skill set.
• Have experience with Docker containers and orchestration solutions (Docker build, Kubernetes).
• Have solid experience in configuration management and IaC (Ansible, Helm, Terraform).
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools and processes: Git, Jenkins pipelines, Artifactory.
• Possess hands-on experience with the Elastic Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics.
• Demonstrate programming skills in Python and Bash.
• Have an intermediate level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of Istio, NGINX, and AWS Load Balancers
• Familiarity with Calico network policies
