About the Position

Build the platforms behind public transport software used around the world.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Teleste's Public Safety and Mobility business. In this role, you'll help develop and improve the tools, automation, and environments that enable our software teams to build, test, secure, and deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and reliably.

This is not just a maintenance role. You will play an important part in shaping how software is delivered across teams, working closely with developers, QA specialists, architects, security experts, and Operational Excellence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins-based environments
  • Improve software build, test, release, and delivery automation
  • Support Linux-based development infrastructure and shared development tools
  • Administer and develop Jira workflows and automations
  • Improve software delivery reliability, traceability, and security
  • Help development teams solve tooling and delivery challenges
  • Contribute to DevOps roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD environments
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and software delivery automation
  • Linux administration skills
  • Experience with Jira administration and automation
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, Groovy, Go or similar)
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Ansible
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
