About the Position

DevOps Engineer

Flanders/Brussels, Belgium

Sopra Steria offers tailored end-to-end corporate technology and software solutions that help organizations make bold choices and achieve results. With over 51,000 colleagues in nearly 30 countries, we are among the top European digital solutions providers. Successful organizations in Europe trust our technology because we continue to strive for innovation, collaboration, and business development.

The world is how we shape it. Let’s shape it together.

Do you love automating repetitive tasks? Do you find it challenging to automate the 'impossible' or roll out cloud and cloud-native infrastructures for multiple clients simultaneously? We are looking for IT specialists who are always looking for automation and think one step ahead.

Are Cloud providers, containers, scripting languages, IaC (Terraform), and CI/CD tooling almost part of your DNA? Are you looking forward to challenging projects with well-known top companies in Belgium? This, combined with a dynamic team and various training opportunities. That’s what we can offer you!

As a DevOps Engineer, usually in a DevOps environment, you form the bridge between infrastructure and development. You guide and advise your clients on the end-to-end application of the DevOps process, both in cloud-native/hybrid and traditional architectures. For this, you understand the client's needs and work with various IT profiles, such as software engineers, architects, solution analysts, system engineers, etc. You can think along both technically and strategically. Moreover, you like to stay informed about the latest technologies in the field of Cloud, the CNCF landscape, and much more.

We are looking for passionate colleagues who like to push the boundaries in the field of digital transformation and technology consulting. At Sopra Steria, you will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects and develop your skills in a constructive team environment. Do you love a challenge and do you see yourself in (most of) these criteria? Then we are already looking forward to your application.

Responsibilities

  • Guide and advise clients on the end-to-end application of the DevOps process.
  • Collaborate with various IT profiles to understand client needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies in Cloud, CNCF, and more.

  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS.

  • Knowledge of at least one scripting language: Bash, Powershell, etc.
  • Experience with container concepts: Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift, etc.
  • General network knowledge.
  • IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
  • CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS Codepipeline, ArgoCD, etc.
  • ITIL processes.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.

We Offer

  • Be part of a leading name in the tech world known for consulting, digital services, and software development.
  • Work with high-level professionals who dare to commit to achieving high results.
  • Join the Business Line DPS (Digital Platform Services), which operates in the industrial, life sciences, public, and financial sectors, focusing on core-IT from the front-end to the back-end of business platforms.
