About the Position
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with experience in IT System monitoring and scripting to join our team in Latvia. Work remotely with a competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Development and engineering of our monitoring landscapes with a focus on Icinga2 and Azure
- Development of monitoring methods with cloud methods and scripts in PowerShell & Perl
- Optimization of the methods used (scripts, plugins, procedures, etc.)
- Error analysis and development of strategies for service improvement in the context of the DevOps organization
- Integration of the monitoring systems into event and incident management
Requirements
- Previous professional experience in operating complex IT landscapes with focus on IT System monitoring
- Profound knowledge of UNIX and Windows, as well as script programming (PowerShell and Perl)
- Good to have Experience with Icinga2, SnagView, Nagios or comparable systems as well as related automation methods
- Strong customer and service orientation, as well as ITIL knowledge
- High level of analytical competence and proactive commitment
- Participation in on-call duties
