DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience in CI/CD, AWS, and GCP to join our team and support our enterprise product for global pharmaceutical and financial companies.

About the Project

Our stable enterprise product is used for creating marketing presentations, preparing accompanying materials, and developing sales cycle business assistants for global pharmaceutical companies such as AstraZeneca, Novartis, Pfizer, Veeva, etc., and financial institutions like ING, Van Lanschot. We have been developing this product since 2015. Our services operate across multiple Availability Zones. The main APIs with business logic (GraphQL and REST) are primarily implemented using PHP (Laravel, Yii2), however, there is also code in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript), Python, and C#. We use a combination of AWS and GCP to support our infrastructure. As a product with high-security requirements, we undergo regular penetration testing from auditors and client companies to ensure compliance with industry standards such as OWASP, SOC, and ISO.

Responsibilities

• Design and support of CI/CD processes, internal process automation.
• Support and provisioning of server infrastructure located mostly in AWS and partly in Google Cloud.
• Effective communication with the team (participation in meetings and discussions of tasks), participation in the development of applications and infrastructure.
• Testing and monitoring workloads, monitoring product performance after the release.

Requirements

• Good understanding of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with AWS.
• Unix OS administration skills (Ubuntu), troubleshooting.
• Experience with Nginx, Docker, Git.
• Experience in developing scripts in Bash, Python.
• Understanding the basics of information security.
• Basic experience with relational databases, Redis.
• Technical English level.

Nice to Have

• TypeScript experience.
• GraphQL experience or possibly its building.
• Good algorithmic experience.
• Strong CSS skills.
• Knowledge of other languages (besides JS) is a plus.
• Computer Science Diploma.
• Spoken English.
