DevOps/Platform Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to support the design and implementation of our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), with Port (port.io) as the target platform.

In this role, you will also contribute to building an agentic marketplace - a platform capability that enables seamless onboarding, integration, and orchestration of agent-based solutions. While the role does not involve developing agents themselves, it focuses on enabling their effective usage, governance, and consumption across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Port (port.io)
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure scalable, secure, and consistent cloud environments
• Configure, optimize, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including IAM policies, access controls, and core services
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related workflows
• Improve developer experience by enabling self-service capabilities and standardizing platform workflows
• Integrate and maintain developer tooling across the platform (SCM, CI/CD, security, artifact management)
• Ensure reliability, automation, and consistency of platform operations following DevOps best practices
• Contribute to the development of an agentic marketplace by enabling onboarding and integration of agent-based capabilities
• Design and implement API-driven integration patterns for external tools, services, and agents
• Enable discovery, governance, and controlled consumption of agents, tools, and skills within AWS environments
• Define and enforce best practices for orchestration and lifecycle management of agent-based solutions
• Support the evolution of developer portal capabilities, including software cataloging, golden paths, and self-service workflows
• Ensure security, compliance, and policy enforcement are embedded across the platform and SDLC

Requirements

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Python
  • Terraform
  • GitHub (GitHub Actions, workflows, integrations)
  • AWS (core services, IAM, infrastructure design)

• Solid understanding of:

  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Platform engineering and developer experience
  • Infrastructure as Code and automation

• Experience integrating developer tools (e.g., SCM, CI, security, artifact management)

Agentic Marketplace Focus

Exposure to:

• Agent-based ecosystems and integration patterns
• API-driven onboarding and orchestration of external capabilities
• Understanding of how to enable discovery, governance, and consumption of agents/skills/tools in AWS within a platform

Nice to Have

• Experience with Internal Developer Portals (especially Port.io)
• Exposure to software cataloging, golden paths, and developer self-service capabilities
• Security and compliance awareness within SDLC
