DevOps Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Your primary goal will be to enhance the development and deployment processes by automating workflows and ensuring system reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and implement automated services for application deployment and management, ensuring availability and performance.
• Develop and optimize tools and processes to support infrastructure.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, system engineers, project managers, and database administrators to streamline deployments.
• Manage incidents and ensure quick resolution by analyzing root causes and implementing preventive measures.
• Participate in key processes: capacity planning, change management, incident/problem resolution, and continuous performance improvement.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer is highly appreciated.

Required Technical Skills

• Systems & Containerization: Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes (OpenShift is a plus).
• Scripting & Development: Experience with Bash and Python (Go is a plus).
• CI/CD: Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Monitoring & Observability: Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus.
• Databases: Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL.
• Cloud: Understanding of major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Soft Skills

• Proficient in English to work in an international environment.
• French is a plus.
• Passionate about new technologies and eager to stay updated on industry trends.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
