About the Position
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience in DevOps and software development to join our pioneering medical technology team in Kyiv/Remote. The role is Full Time and involves automating deployment and managing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Automate deployment of application infrastructure
- Manage CI/CD processes
- Support existing infrastructure
- Extend monitoring
- Perform migration of the existing architecture to a new environment
Requirements
- 3+ years in DevOps and software development
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, KMS, Route53, ECR, IAM, RDS, Lambda, Cognito)
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Prometheus/Grafana, Cadvisor, Node Exporter
- Scripting skills in Python
- Knowledge of Java build automation tools (MVN, Grandle)
- Familiarity with common development tools like Git
- Understanding of CI/CD principles
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SES, SQS, X-Ray)
- Experience with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MYSQL
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Filebeat, Kibana
- Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon
- Experience with NGINX
- Knowledge of Kafka, Zookeeper
About the Project
Our company is a leading medical technology provider in the global dialysis market. We have developed a mobile hemodialysis system for the treatment of patients with renal failure, which received FDA approval in April 2020. Our systems are widely used by patients all over the US and we have delivered 50 systems to US hospitals in collaboration with the US Department of Health and Human Services in May 2020.

Problem
Traditional hemodialysis is a time-consuming routine that requires dedicated hospital facilities and staff. This makes it difficult to scale up for a larger number of patients and to implement in remote or poverty areas. Currently, only 10% of those who need dialysis actually receive it due to a lack of specialized medical facilities.
Solution
We have developed a digital platform that enables real-time monitoring and analytics of the device and patient data, allowing medical staff to monitor and adjust the treatment process remotely. The platform is scalable, employs Cloud-based technology, and meets HIPAA compliance requirements. It automates documentation workflows and streamlines device management with two-way wireless data transfer and cloud-based monitoring and reporting.
