DevOps Engineer

About the Position

At Mi-C3, we build intelligent, scalable solutions that empower organizations across the globe - and we’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our fully remote, internationally distributed team.

This role is central to ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our mission-critical platforms. As part of our technology team, you will work closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership to design, deploy, and optimize the infrastructure that drives our products. You’ll play a key part in shaping our operational landscape, championing automation, and ensuring seamless delivery across the business.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize infrastructure for mission-critical platforms
• Work closely with engineers, product teams, and leadership
• Champion automation and continuous improvement
• Shape the operational landscape and ensure seamless delivery

• Technical Requirements:
  • Experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, Mongo), automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis, GitLab CI), orchestration & containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Knowledge of deploying Node.js-based applications
  • Ability to use various tools to orchestrate solutions with a focus on plain Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
  • Ability to deploy / maintain independent web-based tools, microservices, and solutions with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, NodeJS, Prometheus
  • Ability to deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including monitoring, using RKE and Ansible
  • Ability to write Helm Charts used to integrate many components to create a software solution
  • Experience in writing scripts and automation using NodeJS/Python/Bash
  • Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure based on XenServer with Ubuntu guests
  • Manage source control - Git/GitLab CI and implement GitOps

Nice to Have

• Ability to deploy, configure, and manage data streaming services like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Ability to deploy, configure, and manage data visualization services like Grafana, Apache Superset
