About the Position

ELEKS DevOps Office is looking for a DevOps Engineering Manager in Buenos Aires and Cordoba City (Argentina).

About the Role

We are looking for a technically grounded Engineering Manager with a strong background in CI/CD and SDLC tooling to lead a distributed DevOps Tooling team. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be responsible for team coordination, delivery management, and stakeholder communication, while staying close to the technical work - reviewing pipeline architecture, guiding engineers, and unblocking the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a distributed DevOps Tooling team on a daily basis
  • Own backlog management, priority setting, and capacity planning
  • Drive sprint planning, execution, and delivery consistency
  • Act as the main escalation point for technical and delivery issues
  • Review CI/CD pipeline architecture and guide technical decisions
  • Support and unblock engineers, ensuring smooth delivery flow
  • Mentor team members and support their professional development
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including: Status updates; Risks and issues; Delivery metrics
  • Collaborate with client-side program managers and product owners
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise processes, including compliance and governance

Requirements

  • 7+ years of overall experience, including: 5+ years in DevOps and 2+ years in a lead or management role
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise / GitHub Actions, Nexus, Sonar
  • Solid experience in: CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance, SDLC tooling and application delivery processes
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
  • Experience working with AWS and/or Azure
  • Scripting skills for automation
  • Experience in enterprise-scale environments with established processes
  • Understanding of change management and compliance practices

  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare)
  • Experience with enterprise governance and toolchain standardization
