About the Position
We’re looking for a DevOps / Platform Engineer (Agent Deployment & CI/CD) to build and maintain deployment pipelines and runtime infrastructure for AI agent workloads.
This role focuses on containerization, CI/CD automation, and reliable deployment of Python-based agent systems to AWS environments. You’ll work at the intersection of platform engineering and AI, ensuring that agent-based applications are securely built, efficiently deployed, and easy to operate at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize Docker multi-stage builds for Python-based agent workloads
- Manage Python packaging and dependencies (pyproject.toml, uv, lockfiles)
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for AI workloads
- Implement end-to-end deployment flows: test → build → ECR push → runtime deployment
- Deploy and manage workloads on EKS and/or AgentCore Runtime
- Configure and use AgentCore CLI and deployment configs (agentcore.json, aws-targets.json)
- Ensure secure container image management, including ECR push and vulnerability scanning
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience
- Support infrastructure-as-code practices and platform standardization
Requirements
- Docker multi-stage builds for Python agent workloads
- uv package manager (pyproject.toml, lockfiles)
- AWS AgentCore CLI + agentcore.json / aws-targets.json deployment config
- GitHub Actions CI/CD for AI workloads
- EKS / AgentCore Runtime deployment targets
- ECR image push and container security scanning
- Experience:
- 5+ years DevOps or platform engineering
- Deployed containerised Python AI workloads to AWS (ECS or EKS)
- CI/CD pipeline design: test → build → ECR push → AgentCore Runtime deploy
- Infrastructure-as-code at team scale
Will be a plus:
- AWS AgentCore CLI and agentcore.json deployment patterns
- Experience packaging and publishing internal Python SDKs or libraries
- Observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
