Responsibilities

• Define, design, and operate the CI/CD platform integrating Gitlab Ultimate in SaaS, along with a suite of tools such as Gitlab-ci, Jenkins, AWX, ArgoCD, KeyCloak, HashiCorp Vault, SonarQube CE & EE, shared Confluence base, JIRA, all deployed on GCP on a GKE cluster and supervised via our internal observability platform (Dynatrace / ELK / PagerDuty).

• Provide 24/7 technical support (on-call), ensure the scalability of the platform, and maintain clear and detailed documentation.

• Work closely with product teams to optimize their user experience, promote, and ensure the adoption of the best DevOps practices at scale.

• Encourage autonomy and responsibility of product teams by offering our platform services in self-service via our internal portal based on Backstage.io.

• Actively participate in defining the strategy and vision for the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies in software engineering.

• Participate in the technical governance of the client and stay at the forefront of Platform Engineering practices.

Requirements

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent university degree with a specialization in computer science, or equivalent significant experience.

• Experience: More than 7 years in the same position.

• Significant experience as a DevOps engineer, particularly in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and Gitlab administration.

• Good understanding of the development tools ecosystem, expertise in git, construction of CI/CD pipelines (ansible, terraform, argocd, helm, etc.), Kubernetes, and GCP.

• Strong skills in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation.
