DevOps Team Lead

Alongside Aviator, SPRIBE builds forward-thinking solutions like the Broadway Platform, enabling operators to launch and scale with exceptional speed and efficiency.

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead who will act as a delivery-focused leader for our DevOps function. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical execution and business delivery, ensuring effective project management, task prioritization, team development, and cross-departmental alignment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers, conducting 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and career growth planning.
• Own delivery and coordinated management for the DevOps team, ensuring effective task prioritization, planning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate closely with Software Development, QA, Release Management, Security, and Project teams to streamline software delivery, manage dependencies, capacity, and align timelines.
• Report directly to the Head of Infrastructure on team metrics, delivery status, and operational SLAs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering/IT operations, with 3+ years explicitly in a leadership, team management, delivery management roles.
• Proven track record of efficiently managing delivery timelines, unblocking engineers, and structuring team workflows.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Solid, but conceptual understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitOps, enough to manage technical tasks and talk to architects, though hands-on work is not the primary focus.
