About the Position
We are seeking a DevOps/IDE Support Engineer (L2-L3) to manage Git hosting/SCM platforms, Azure DevOps, and IDE support. Experience with GitHub Actions, YAML pipelines, and scripting is required.
Responsibilities
- Administer a Git hosting / SCM platform (GitHub Enterprise): org/repo management, CI workflows (GitHub Actions), access governance, and SaaS configuration.
- Administer a DevOps platform (Azure DevOps): repos, pipelines (YAML), and boards.
- Handle the high-volume L1/L2 queue (access requests, configuration, troubleshooting) and lighter L3 fixes; escalate complex platform issues to the Platform Engineer.
- Provide IDE support (Visual Studio & VS Code): licensing, extensions, and desktop/VDI configuration.
- Support developer-portal ↔ GitHub/Azure DevOps integrations under the Platform Engineer's lead.
- Keep tickets within SLA and maintain support documentation.

Nice to Have
- Azure DevOps administration and YAML pipeline authoring.
- SSO/SCIM and access-governance experience.
- Scripting (PowerShell / Bash / Python) for automating routine SCM tasks.
- Basic exposure to Docker/containers or the Backstage catalog.
