Your Mission

As a Digital Payments Consultant / Manager, you will actively contribute to the development of the European payments market. Together with an international and interdisciplinary team of strategy, subject matter, and technology experts, you will develop forward-looking solutions for our clients and support their transformation.

You will analyze market and technology trends, develop innovative business and operating models, and advise our clients on strategic issues related to payment systems and during the implementation of their transformation – always with the goal of creating measurable value for our clients.

Depending on your experience, you will take responsibility for individual project modules or lead project teams, develop colleagues, and support the expansion of our payment business.

Responsibilities

• Shape the payment systems of tomorrow. You will develop innovative strategies and business models for central banks, commercial banks, and other financial institutions and support them in aligning their payment landscapes for the future.
• Guide our clients through demanding transformations. You will accompany our clients from strategy development through technical and conceptual design to the successful implementation of complex transformation programs.
• Drive innovations forward. You will analyze market trends, identify new potentials, and develop innovative solutions for our clients and new consulting offers for Accenture.
• Shape the future of payment systems. You will work on topics such as the Digital Euro, Instant Payments, Embedded Finance, Open Finance, or Wallet Solutions like EPI/ Wero and specifically integrate technological innovations such as AI, Cloud, and Blockchain into client projects.
• Connect strategy and technology. You will work closely with experts in strategy, business, and technology and develop solutions that combine technical excellence with successful implementation.
• Take responsibility and develop people. As a manager, you will lead and develop project teams, promote colleagues, and actively shape the further expansion of our payments community.

What We Are Looking For

• A successfully completed degree in a relevant field.
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, a bank, a payment service provider, or in the payments and digital currency sector.
• Independent work, self-responsibility, and proactivity characterize you.
• A pronounced interest in innovative payment solutions for Digital Euro, Wallet Solutions, Instant Payments, Embedded Finance, and technologies such as AI, Blockchain & Cloud, as well as the ability to specifically apply these in strategy development and implementation.
• An open, communicative personality who thinks analytically and develops innovative solutions.
• Your teamwork and cooperative working style.
• Your ability to convince stakeholders in German and English.

The annual gross salary for this position starts at €61,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
