About the Position
Digital Twin Engineering Intern
Spend your summer building digital twins of the labs behind next-generation AI systems in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
As a Digital Twin Engineering Intern, you will:
- Support virtual models of data lab spaces, equipment, and infrastructure during a 12-week, full-time summer internship.
- Help turn engineering information into accurate 3D scenes and reusable digital assets.
- Create models, integrate facilities data, check accuracy, and document your approach.
- Compare digital twins with drawings, layouts, records, and physical environments.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, integrated engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in applying engineering principles to digital representations of physical spaces, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Experience with, or interest in learning, 3D modeling, visualization, simulation, or digital twin technologies.
- Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings, layouts, diagrams, or technical documentation.
- Careful attention to accuracy, detail, file organization, and clear documentation.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to learn new software with guidance.
