About the Role
Join M&M Software GmbH as an intern to explore cloud independence and develop a sovereignty check tool.
Responsibilities
- Identify Dependencies: Analyze a real application to uncover its dependencies on cloud services, AI models, software subscriptions, or libraries.
- Build a Sovereignty Check: Develop an evaluation model based on frameworks like the EU Cloud Sovereignty Framework, ideally as a small tool for customer projects.
- Prototype Migration to European Cloud: Prototype the migration of a part of a real application to STACKIT, the Schwarz Group's cloud with data centers in Germany and Austria. Assess the effort, challenges, and compare performance, costs, and comfort with major US providers.
- Provide Clear Recommendations: Determine where independence is worthwhile and where it's excessive. Develop a pragmatic roadmap instead of just theory.
Requirements
- You are studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- You enjoy exploring the technical background and experimenting with things rather than just describing them.
- You are interested in Cloud, AI, or Open Source. Being an expert is not necessary, curiosity is enough.
