Director of Academics

Are you a visionary leader with a proven track record in academic and educational leadership? Do you have a deep understanding of learning science and AI-enabled workflows? If so, 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic north star to lead our innovative EdTech model and drive systemic change in education worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Creating Academic Frameworks: Translate learning science into practical guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design.
• Leading Academic Execution: Review and ensure alignment, accountability, and results across Heads of Academics.
• Synthesizing Data: Conduct academic ecosystem reviews to identify barriers to accelerated learning and propose actionable interventions.
• Driving Strategic Alignment: Maintain focus on student learning goals through planning, feedback loops, and milestone tracking.
• Representing 2 Hour Learning: Advocate for our model at the highest levels, from keynote stages to sessions with Ministries of Education.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years in academic, EdTech, curriculum, learning product, or education leadership roles.
• Management Experience: Direct experience managing managers or senior academic or product leaders.
• Performance Improvement: Proven track record of improving academic, curriculum, student-outcome, or learning-product performance.
• AI Fluency: Direct, hands-on experience building or shipping AI-enabled workflows, content, or products.
• Education: Advanced degree in education, learning science, educational leadership, curriculum, cognitive science, or a related field is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to combine academic judgment, cross-subject diagnosis, AI-first execution, and performance management.
