About the Position

Director Planta H/M

Kronospan, a leading global manufacturer of advanced wood panels with over 125 years of experience and more than 50 plants worldwide, is seeking a Director of Plant with expertise in industrial management, team leadership, and results orientation. The selected candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the plant, coordinating various operational areas and guaranteeing the achievement of production, safety, quality, cost, and efficiency objectives.

Responsibilities

• Direct the global operations of the plant and ensure compliance with established objectives.
• Lead the Production, Maintenance, and other operations-related teams.
• Supervise key performance indicators and establish corrective actions when necessary.
• Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and prevention standards.
• Coordinate production planning and necessary resources to guarantee operational continuity.
• Lead continuous improvement and industrial transformation projects.
• Develop the management team and foster a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and results.
• Report to the Executive Management on the plant's evolution, needs, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Higher education, preferably in Engineering, Industrial Organization, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in responsible positions in industrial environments.
• Experience as Director/a de Producción, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar is highly valued.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and productive structures.
• Analytical skills and management through KPIs.
• Problem-solving profile, organized, and capable of making decisions in demanding environments.
• Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
• Residence in Terres de l’Ebre or real availability to establish in the area.
• Experience in continuous process industrial plants is valuable.
