Director Transaction Advisory / Strategy (m/f/d)

OMMAX GmbH is seeking a Director Transaction Advisory / Strategy to join our team in shaping the digital future. This role involves working closely with founders, partners, and clients to create real added value by linking strategy and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for international commercial / digital / tech / data due diligence reports for buy- and sell-side transactions.
• Manage analyses of (digital) business models for leading private equity clients in an international context.
• Develop an equity story and (digital) value creation initiatives for portfolio companies of our private equity clients.
• Identify client consulting needs, structure the problem, and independently develop solutions.
• Analyze the strategic impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on business models and its application fields.
• Lead project teams and coordinate with external parties.
• Organize core activities such as workshops, meetings, research, stakeholder engagement, business analyses, technical analyses, and solution design.
• Supervise and develop the team and support recruiting activities for new and high-potential managers.

Requirements

• Excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience with a focus on (digital) strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or digital marketing.
• Proven track record in leading and scaling successful, high-performing teams.
• Strong affinity for technology, particularly in digital marketing, tech, or AI.
• Strong analytical skills combined with creative and conceptual thinking.
• Client-oriented manner with the ability to bridge the gap between clients and the organization.
• Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Service-oriented and communicative team player with high intrinsic motivation and passion for your work.
• Fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
