About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Art Director in Rio de Janeiro to lead the development and execution of major retail campaigns.

We are looking for a profile with high technical rigor, a refined aesthetic eye, creativity, and autonomy, capable of getting hands-on in visual conception, supporting the technical guidance of the creative team, and ensuring the standard of excellence in all project deliveries.

Main Responsibilities

Creation and Conception: Develop visual concepts, key visuals (KVs), campaign identities, and complete rollouts for multiple touchpoints (digital, social, PDV, OOH, print, and CRM).
Team Management and Support: Assist in the technical guidance of designers, art assistants, and motion designers, acting as a creative reference and mentor in daily activities.
Standard and Quality Assurance: Review final pieces and files, ensuring brand consistency, impeccable technical finish, readability, and compliance with client style guides.
Retail Vision: Create visually appealing pieces with strong commercial appeal, clarity in price/offer messaging, and focus on conversion.
Creative Partnership: Work in tandem with copywriters and in constant alignment with creative and account management coordination.

Candidate Profile (Soft Skills)

Technical and Detail-Oriented: Absolute mastery of composition, typography, color theory, information hierarchy, and file closure.
Proactive and Problem-Solving: Agile posture to propose quick and efficient solutions in the face of the dynamism characteristic of retail.
Creative and Strategic: Ability to innovate within the guidelines and limits of retail communication.
Collaborative Leadership: Ease in guiding other professionals, providing constructive feedback, and keeping the team aligned with delivery goals.

Requirements and Qualifications

Solid previous experience as a Senior Art Director in advertising agencies or marketing departments.
Proven Experience in Retail: Portfolio demonstrating promotional campaigns, product launches, and high-complexity/volume materials.
Advanced Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign essential).
Experience in creating integrated campaigns (On + Off).
Updated online portfolio with relevant work in Art Direction and Retail.

Differentials

Knowledge in After Effects (basic/intermediate motion graphics) or Figma.
Experience with generative artificial intelligence tools for visual creation/exploration (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.).
Experience in accompanying photos, product shoots, and retail filming sets.
