DP World's Yard Operations Team at the CSCT Terminal in Agigea is seeking passionate individuals for a full-time on-site role. This position offers essential operational support in vessel mooring/unmooring (container ships, general cargo, Ro-Ro), cargo handling (containers, bulk, cereals, OOG), container cleaning, and crane coordination on the quay.

Responsibilities

• Mooring/Unmooring Containers: Perform mooring/unmooring of containers on container ships and the quay, assembling/disassembling mooring equipment at the station, following procedures.
• General Cargo/CFS Handling: Carry out cargo lashing, handling, and mooring of general cargo in the container storage area and CFS warehouse.
• Cereal Containerization: Verify bulk loading and container tipping installation (dana 125); assist/supervise unloading from trucks/barges/ships.
• Container Washing/Cleaning: Wash containers at the laundry with a pressure jet (IPT9) and manually clean in storage areas, segregating waste for recycling; perform adjacent cleaning.
• Crane Coordination: Guide/coordinate cranes for container handling, stacking, and mooring on board, according to the operational plan.
• Bulk/Cereal Handling on Conventional/Ro-Ro Ships: Moor/unmoor cargo, open/close warehouse hatches, clean barns, and support weighing/tipping equipment.
• BB/OOG/General Cargo Handling: Handle BB, OOG containers, and general cargo on container/conventional/Ro-Ro ships and in storage, with proper cargo lashing.
• Strapping and Supervision: Perform container/equipment strapping; supervise subcontractor staff to ensure compliance with procedures and PPE.

Requirements

• Qualifications and Experience:
  • Completed secondary or general education.
  • Certified Docker qualification.
  • Technical Prescription PT R1/2010 regarding the obligations and responsibilities of cargo loaders.
  • Previous experience in port logistics operations is an advantage.
• Skills/Competencies:
  • Openness to change, with the ability to quickly adapt actions based on feedback and arguments.
  • Excellent document and process organization skills, with a focus on clarity and efficiency.
  • Excellent customer collaboration – responsive, friendly, and proactive in informing them.
  • Decisive and responsive spirit, acting promptly when the situation demands.
