Are you looking for a practical approach to your computer science studies? Lexware offers a dual informatics study program that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in software development, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

Join us in September 2027 for a 36-month dual study program in collaboration with the DHBW Lörrach, with regular practice phases at our Haufe Campus in Freiburg. You will work in various development teams and gain insights into different areas of software development.

Responsibilities

• Receive comprehensive training and deepen your knowledge in programming languages such as TypeScript, Java, or React, as well as modern cloud technologies and cyber security.
• Learn about end-to-end business processes and help develop them further.
• Experience all phases of software development, from customer ideas to go-live.
• Gain in-depth insights into our database systems and the creation of graphical user interfaces and web-based applications.
• Study subjects include IT infrastructure, databases, programming and big data, technical computer science, mathematics, scientific work, and the elective module "Software Engineering".

Requirements

• Abitur, Fachgebundene Hochschulreife, Fachhochschulreife (a passed Delta examination is additionally required) or a comparable qualification.
• Passion for software development & cyber security and ideally some initial programming experience.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex relationships - good performance in technical subjects such as mathematics and computer science is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm to learn about the technologies in our company.
• Very good written and spoken German skills (according to the admission requirements of the dual college) and good English skills.

We Offer

• Attractive compensation starting at €1,431 in the first year, €1,494 in the second year, and €1,574 in the third year, supplemented by a bonus.
• Our development program "Skill Safari", which accompanies you throughout your training and strengthens your personal and social skills in six modules.
