Experience Report
With the dual study program in Electrotechnics at Weidmüller, I made exactly the right decision after graduating from high school. From the beginning, I was welcomed very warmly and the cohesion and new friendships grew quickly. In combination with the apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician, I learned many new skills in the first year - from mechanical to pneumatic and electrotechnical basics, with the practical handling of electrotechnics being the perfect preparation for the subsequent studies. After 14 months, the very practically oriented studies at the TH OWL began, where I particularly benefit from small learning and exercise groups and the personal contact is always in the foreground. In addition, I get to know many different areas of the company during the parallel practical phases, which makes the diverse professional opportunities of the electrotechnics studies even more apparent.
