About the Position
HRK S.A. is seeking a Financial & Accounting Director (F/M/D) for one of our clients, an international manufacturing company, in Czarnków, Wielkopolskie. This is a hybrid work position.
Responsibilities
- Supervision over the proper maintenance of accounting books
- Shaping accounting policies and overseeing document circulation
- Responsibility for the company's tax settlements, including CIT, PIT, VAT, WHT, and real estate tax
- Handling issues related to transfer pricing, tax schemes, and R&D relief
- Oversight of international transaction settlements
- Monitoring the company's financial liquidity
- Cooperation with banks, including financing, credit applications, and securities
- Preparation of financial reports and collaboration with auditors
- Coordination of the financial report review process
- Preparation of required reporting to the Commercial Register, GUS, and NBP
- Supervision over the inventory process
- Preparation of reports according to SeaKing Group standards, including year-end closings, forecasts, and budgets
- Responsibility for the controlling area
- Coordination of the company's insurance process
- Oversight of HR and payroll matters
- Coordination of issues related to CRBR and ZFŚS
- Support in formal corporate duties of the company
Requirements
- Experience in a similar position – Financial Director or Chief Accountant
- Experience in managing accounting in a manufacturing company
- Experience in managing a team of up to 10 people
- Practical knowledge of accounting and tax issues
- Experience in handling international transactions – WDT, WNT, export, and import
- Good knowledge of VAT, CIT, WHT, and real estate tax regulations
- Experience in cooperation with banks
- Knowledge of HR and payroll issues, including ZUS and PIT settlements
- Fluent knowledge of English
