About the Position

NERDZ LAB is looking for a Junior Android Developer to join our team in Lviv, Ukraine. Join us for exciting projects and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Android applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Requirements

1.5+ years of experience in Android development
Deep knowledge of Kotlin
Experience with Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, View Binding, etc.)
Experience with MVVM, MVP, SOLID, GoF
Understanding of OOP/POP/OOD
Understanding of the full software development cycle
Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and DI (Hilt)
Knowledge of multithreading and memory management
Knowledge of Rest/Retrofit/OkHttp/Web Sockets
Experience in creating custom UI elements and interactive UX
English level Intermediate or higher

Nice to Have

Experience with databases Room, SQLite
Understanding and experience with TDD
Examples on Google Play
