About the Position

Education Project Manager | Skvot

Department: Production

Location: Hybrid

Level: Junior

Online education is a dynamic territory of startups and investments. The global EdTech market is already worth over $400 billion.

We, the Laba Group team, started 10 years ago and are already EdTech leaders in Eastern Europe. In 2020, we entered the European market and are now actively working on projects in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

Throughout our journey, we have launched over 1400+ courses from experts at companies like Google, Microsoft, Netflix, and Nike.

We have created 5 online education brands:

  • Laba - a professional development service
  • Skvot - an online school of popular culture in Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
  • robot_dreams - an educational platform for IT growth
  • Vocabulaba - an English school for professionals
  • elvtr - a platform for creative and corporate careers in the USA and the UK

To stay ahead, we need the strongest team members. Skvot is growing rapidly - expanding its course portfolio, introducing new directions and formats. Therefore, we are looking for a Project Manager - someone who will help launch new courses and improve existing ones: strong creatively and commercially. You are exactly who we need if you:

  1. are interested in design, cinema, fashion, or other pop culture areas;
  2. want to delve deeper into these topics;
  3. can speak to our audience on the same wavelength.

Your task list:

  • Research the market, trends, competitors, topics, and experts in collaboration with analysts and instructional designers. Identify potential niches for launching new courses;
  • Manage courses at all stages: from idea and advertising campaign to summarizing the success of the launch. Generate ideas, agree on materials (landing pages, flyers, newsletters), monitor quality and effectiveness, test hypotheses, run A/B tests;
  • Find and select experts, conduct negotiations, build partnerships with them. Agree on terms of cooperation and oversee the entire process: from the first call to signing the contract;
  • Prepare creative briefs, coordinate the filming process and interaction with production - from preparation to final editing;
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, analytics, support, and production teams. Plan tasks, meet deadlines, efficiently allocate resources, and bring the right people on board at various stages of the project;
  • Analyze marketing and financial indicators of the course, draw conclusions, and improve the product based on data.

Skill pack for high-quality task performance:

  • Experience in producer/project manager/event manager positions in other educational projects
  • Basic knowledge of marketing metrics, analytics, and sales (or willingness to learn)
  • Product mindset - deeply immerse in the value of the product, desire to do things not just well, but usefully and effectively
  • Proactivity and strategic thinking - ability to jump into work immediately, drive change, and look at things globally
  • Systemic approach and analytical skills - knowledge of clear processes, team coordination, and ability to conduct in-depth analysis
  • Responsibility - ability to make informed decisions and learn from their outcomes
  • Communication skills and empathy - ability to communicate and understand people, even when they themselves do not know what they want
  • Interest in education and the creative sphere - desire to develop the educational industry, interest in creative projects, and drive from work

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in launching or managing conferences, cultural projects, festivals;
  • Market research experience: trends, competitors, audience needs;
  • Education or practical experience in areas: game development, film production, architecture, art, music, marketing, or advertising;
  • English language - Intermediate+.

Why Laba Group:

  • Flexible schedule: full-time with a loyal approach. We focus on results, not on tracking time.
  • Format: hybrid. We have a pet-friendly office with a generator and shelter in Podil.
  • Unlimited vacation after 6 months of working with us. You decide based on your needs and adjust depending on the workload intensity.
  • Support in the form of compensations for external training, sports, mental and physical health. Keep your resources balanced and don't worry about them.
  • We value quality development, so we provide employees with free access to all Laba Group courses. Choose a direction that interests you and reach new heights with us.
  • Vertical and horizontal development: 83% of our heads and leads have grown within the company.
  • Opportunity to shape the creative industry and popular culture
  • Initiative and development: we support an active stance, boldness in ideas, and readiness for change. Floating with the flow is not about Laba. Moving the world - yes.
  • Global company with active scaling: we operate in 8 markets and launch products that improve life and career.
  • No micromanagement and bureaucracy, only automated processes. Experiment, propose, and implement ideas freely.
  • Socially responsible environment: we regularly launch charitable projects and fundraisers, as we strive to help Ukraine and the Defense Forces.
  • Resources, diverse projects, international collaborations - let's fill education with cool and relevant knowledge together.
  • Dream team that will support you with a meme and help you figure things out. Work processes at Laba Group are about openness and mutual respect without conspiracy.

Our recruitment process is transparent and clear: application (there will be several questions in a form that you need to think about) > interview with the recruiter > test > interview with the head > offer in your email.

We are not looking for perfect candidates. We are looking for brave and “our own”. 💛

Join the team. It will be a cool journey.
