About the Position

FLW is the world’s leading EFL news website and reaches up to 8 million people every single month from across the globe!

As FLW continues to grow and develop as a brand, we’re always on the lookout for the brightest and best talent to come and join the team. We supply those who want to pursue a career in the industry with all the requisite tools to succeed. Over the course of a few months, you’ll be fully integrated into the FLW content process, learning how to write and market successful articles, read by thousands of football fans each and every day.

Responsibilities

• Research and write original 500+ word articles.
• Regularly liaise with editors and sub-editors to ensure all content submitted is angled and marketed to fit our content strategy.
• Pitch articles, including angles, titles, and substantiation.
• Input work into our CMS, as well as find and format images, according to our guidelines.

Requirements

• A deep passion for and knowledge of the EFL.
• Experience in your chosen field (e.g., writing, video editing, etc.).
• A solid work ethic, fast learner, and results-driven attitude.
• Adaptable to change and able to react quickly to data trends.

Nice to Have

• Experience writing for NewsNow.
• Experience writing for Facebook.
• Ability to accurately substantiate your copy, including the ability to link back to original sources.
