About the Position

EHS Specialist (ASPP)

Location: Milan, Italy

Responsibilities

  • Support the Plant Manager and EHS Advisor (RSPP) in fulfilling obligations under D.Lgs. Seveso 105/2015.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Advisor (RSPP) to ensure compliance with current regulations and company procedures regarding accident prevention, worker health and safety, incident prevention, and environmental protection.
  • Assist in designing, organizing, and delivering training courses on health, safety, accident prevention, and environmental protection.
  • Support the EHS Advisor (RSPP) in managing the schedule of periodic compliance tasks related to environment, health, safety, and significant incident prevention.
  • Collaborate with the EHS Advisor (RSPP) and the Competent Doctor in implementing health and industrial hygiene interventions.
  • Work with the company management to develop and update procedures that meet safety, health, accident prevention, and environmental protection requirements.
  • Contribute to raising employee awareness of EHS rules and procedures, in collaboration with the company management and the EHS Advisor (RSPP).
  • Promote the correct use of personal protective equipment in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
  • Ensure proper management of administrative tasks related to waste (MUD, loading/unloading logs, FIR, etc.) and verify compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Prepare, draft, and archive reports and records required by current legislation and company policies in the areas of health, safety, environment, and significant incident prevention.
  • Develop and update environmental, safety, and significant incident prevention indicators.
  • Provide support in managing fire and emergency equipment.

Requirements

  • Diploma in chemical engineering or a technical or scientific degree.
  • Previous experience as an ASPP in a manufacturing company.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of current regulations on worker health and safety, environmental protection, and significant incident prevention.
  • Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the chemical sector and knowledge of D.Lgs. 105/2015 are considered advantageous.
