About the Role
Responsible for supporting the results of EHSS indicators. Must apply the philosophy of HPS. Developing the Harman skills in employees.
Responsibilities
- Support to Doctor on control health programs and occupational health of the employees of the company through preventive programs, always focused in order to maintain and improve the health employees. Provides medical services to employees who are feeling ill or have suffered accidents in the Company or events.
- Support to Doctor performs medical exams to new employees or employees who will transfer to different areas or positions. Also performs health-monitoring exams to the associates who are exposed to hazardous material or work in hazardous areas (eye, audiometric, spirometry, high pressure, and drug tests, etc.).
- Maintains records of the employees who have suffered a work-related injury and completes accident forms for the Mexican Social Security and the Labor Department.
- Verifies on a daily basis the cafeteria service of the Company related to their hygiene.
- Maintains the first aid kit and medical equipment well supplied.
- Inventory Control of medicines and medical history.
- Follow up medical disability control (not work-related).
- Follow up health campaigns (vaccines, cancer prevention, etc.) for the employees with the participation of external institutions and Companies.
- Additional duties assigned by the doctor.
- Participates and provides support related to quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets, and programs.
- Participates and provides support with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Authorization to carry out control and disposal of the biological/infectious hazardous waste.
- Carry out and participate in actions in health contingencies (COVID-19).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- 1+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Commission
- Knowledge of handling, and disposal of biological/infectious hazardous waste
- Basic English Skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
