About the Position
Ekspert_ka - Administrator_ka Sieci
We are looking for an experienced Network Administrator to join our team in Katowice or Warsaw, working in a hybrid model. This role offers an opportunity to work with a diverse team specializing in technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, CheckPoint, and Palo Alto. You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure communication solutions within our internal and external network.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the continuous operation of network devices in a large IT infrastructure
- Design, create, and recommend network architecture solutions
- Automate the deployment of network infrastructure
- Analyze problems in complex network infrastructure
- Implement hybrid on-premise and cloud solutions
- Maintain and improve the current network infrastructure
- Develop technical documentation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in managing heterogeneous on-premise and cloud network environments (GCP and/or Azure)
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching, particularly with Cisco network equipment
- Excellent knowledge of firewalling (preferably Fortinet, Cisco ASA, CheckPoint)
- Familiarity with dynamic routing protocols, especially OSPF and BGP
- Ability to analyze system logs and incidents and approach problem-solving in a non-standard way
- Skills in automation, simplifying tasks in the network area
- Self-motivated and open to continuous improvement
- Fluent in English (minimum level B1)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of network security issues (solutions: DDoS, IPS, IDS, etc.)
- Experience in risk, security, and compliance
- Knowledge of computer system security
