About the Position

Electrical Engineer

Wu Xi Shi, Jiang Su Sheng, China

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead AME projects, integrate auto machines with big data, and develop new production line solutions.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead AME projects until hand over to the end user with good quality/budget control.
• Work with IT to integrate current auto machines with big data to drive productivity/ OEE/quality/EHS.
• Develop new solutions/design for new production lines and issues raised by customers (mainly internal).
• Support building a brilliant factory according to the plant plan.
• Provide technical support to maintenance/production to help them with difficult miscellaneous issues.
• Help the maintenance team with their skills by systematic training.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers in daily work on specific projects.
• Lead or take part in TCP activities.
• Other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/ Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Working experience in auto machine electrical design/PLC program writing/Commissioning and system troubleshooting.
• Master Rockwell software, Studio, Rslogix 5000 & Factorytalk view software, familiar with Siemens TIA/GE/Omron PLC/HMI and their software, hardware, and network configuration.
• Experience in motion control design, e.g., VFD, Servo, stepper motor configuration, and commissioning.
• Electrical CAD drawing design; Program design; Electric & Pneumatic related components selection knowledge.
• Experience in industrial robot and Co-robot operation and commissioning, e.g., ABB, UR, or other.
• Good project management skills as well as English skills on writing/speaking; Working language is Mandarin Chinese.
• Ability to work independently in a cross-functional team with good communication skills.
• Know the basic mechanical knowledge, can work with mechanical engineers to solve specific issues.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience in the water treatment industry.
• Knowledge and experience in writing work instructions per ISO 9000 requirements.
