Electrical Engineering Internship - Data Centers

Join Olsson, a team-based, purpose-driven engineering and design firm, for a summer 2026 internship in our data centers division. This internship offers hands-on, real-world experience that will transform your classroom knowledge into practical skills, helping you envision your future career.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment sizing and selection
• Support system optimization and configuration
• Coordinate across disciplines
• Develop construction drawings and specifications
• Participate in electrical modeling of facility infrastructure
• Design and optimize power infrastructure, lighting, emergency power, data systems, and security systems

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in electrical or architectural engineering with an expected graduation date of spring 2027
• Previous experience in Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
