About the Position
Offshore Marine is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a contract position in Mexico, starting from September 1st, 2026. The Electrical Technician will demonstrate exemplary safety and technical competence in all electrical maintenance works on and around the vessel.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and technical competence in electrical maintenance works.
- Maintain competence to carry out allotted tasks.
- Comply with relevant authorization procedures, safe working practices, and specific instructions.
- Obtain information or parameters from reliable sources using approved methods.
- Respond promptly to problems in line with approved procedures.
- Identify and halt unplanned discharges where possible, and report immediately according to policy, procedure, and regulation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience, with 2 years offshore petrochemical experience desired.
- Good knowledge of PTW, Electrical Isolation Standards, Risk Assessment, and Man Management.
- Familiarity with Power Management System and Generation on LV.
- COMP ex E'x' Course.
- Preferred courses: HV/LV Protection and HVLV Switching.
- Medically fit to offshore international standards.
