About the Position
Embedded C++ Developer_ECT1
Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, is seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer to join our team in Bangalore, India. As a Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India, we have a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region.
We are looking for an experienced Embedded C++ Developer to define and drive scalable, high-quality embedded software architecture. This role requires strong expertise in C++ and embedded systems, with working knowledge of connectivity technologies to support connected product development.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end embedded software architecture (drivers, middleware, application layers).
- Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
- Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) with a focus on improving embedded platform engineering and automation.
- Architect systems for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
- Translate business and system requirements into technical architecture.
- Facilitate architecture discussions and design reviews across teams.
- Drive innovative initiatives and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
- Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Embedded C++ development.
- Proven experience in embedded software architecture and system design.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS, drivers, BSP, and low-level system development.
- Experience in secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps practices in embedded systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
Nice to Have
- ISAQB Certification
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - Electronics background
