Embedded Engineer

About the Position

We're seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team in Kyiv, Ukraine, focusing on developing and improving hardware and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work in a product team to create new and improve existing hardware and software solutions.
• Develop a proprietary communication and navigation system.
• Design and program STM and ESP microcontrollers, working with RF transmitters and navigation systems.
• Optimize and improve existing software products.
• Conduct testing of developed software solutions to ensure their correct operation.
• Perform software validation and debugging.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed software solutions.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in electronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with STM32 and ESP8266/ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Experience with RF systems (LoRa, Wi-Fi, BLE, ZigBee…).
• Experience with Linux systems (Embedded Linux is a plus).
• Experience in programming in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• More than 3 years of practical experience in embedded software development.
• Experience in automation or robotics.
• Experience with Betaflight or Ardupilot integration is a plus.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN).
• Understanding of network technology architecture and stack.
• Experience with debugging and analysis tools such as JTAG, SWD.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.
