About the Position

We are seeking an Embedded Engineer with experience in embedded development, C/C++ for microcontrollers, and knowledge of various protocols and hardware systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded systems using C/C++ for microcontrollers.
  • Work with ARM Cortex-M (STM32 or similar), HAL/LL, or register-level programming.
  • Implement and manage interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, DMA, timers, PWM, and interrupts.
  • Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ChibiOS, NuttX) or understanding of their principles.
  • Understand drone protocols: DShot, CRSF/ELRS, SBUS, MAVLink, MSP.
  • Basic understanding of control theory (PID) and signal processing (noise filtering, sensor fusion).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work with measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter).
  • Integrate various hardware systems (communication, companion computers, etc.).
  • Experience with Git.
  • Understand network protocols (TCP, UDP, QUIC).
  • Understand architectural patterns.
  • Technical English at the level of reading documentation and datasheets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in embedded development.
  • Proficient knowledge of C/C++ for microcontrollers.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M (STM32 or similar), HAL/LL, or register-level programming.
  • Knowledge of interfaces UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, DMA, timers, PWM, and interrupts.
  • Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ChibiOS, NuttX) or understanding of their principles.
  • Understanding of drone protocols: DShot, CRSF/ELRS, SBUS, MAVLink, MSP.
  • Basic understanding of control theory (PID) and signal processing (noise filtering, sensor fusion).
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work with measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter).
  • Experience integrating various hardware systems (communication, companion computers, etc.).
  • Experience with Git.
  • Understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, QUIC).
  • Understanding of architectural patterns.
  • Technical English at the level of reading documentation and datasheets.

Nice to Have

  • FPV drone piloting skills. Ability to independently test firmware and experience the behavior of the device in flight.
  • Drone assembly experience. Selection and assembly of the frame, motors, ESC, flight controller, VTX, and antennas, as well as understanding how the layout affects vibrations and reliability.
  • Soldering skills, especially SMD components.
  • Basic 3D modeling skills in Autodesk Fusion or similar for creating mounts, enclosures, and custom parts, as well as 3D printing experience.
  • Linux knowledge. Includes confident work in the terminal, building firmware, and configuring toolchains. Experience with Embedded Linux on single-board computers (Raspberry Pi, Jetson, Radxa) as a companion computer is also a plus.
  • Experience with LiPo and Li-ion batteries, calculating energy budget and flight time.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital video systems (DJI, Walksnail, HDZero) and radio frequency features.
  • Experience in designing printed circuit boards (KiCad, Altium).
  • Python for automating tests and analyzing logs.
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects.
  • Understanding of video streaming. Knowledge of codecs (H.264, H.265), transmission protocols (RTSP, RTP, UDP, WebRTC), and tools like GStreamer or FFmpeg, as well as understanding how to minimize video latency.
  • Frontend and HMI development experience. Creating interfaces for ground control stations, operator consoles, or configurators (e.g., on Qt/QML, React, Electron). This also includes understanding the principles of a user-friendly interface for field use.
  • Experience with Ardupilot.

We Offer

  • Official employment;
  • Opportunity for professional development;
  • Work with innovative technologies and real products;
  • Friendly team and open communication.
