About the Position
Embedded Linux Developer
Kyiv / Lviv
Device Department – Video Intrusion Team

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded Linux solutions for video devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
- Ensure the reliability and performance of embedded systems in real-time environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience in embedded Linux development.
- Deep knowledge of Embedded Linux (U-Boot, ARM Toolchains, Linux Kernel, RootFS, BusyBox).
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Shell Scripting.
- Practical experience with Git, Make, and other build tools.
- Familiarity with Device Tree and udev.
- Understanding of ARM architecture and digital/analog interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART/TTL, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, MIPI, SATA, eMMC).
- Experience with peripheral devices (sensors, controllers, accelerometers, actuators, etc.).
- Fluency in English for reading and understanding technical documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with streaming video, video codecs (HEVC, H.264, H.265).
- Knowledge of Buildroot in hardware projects on ARM platforms.
- Understanding of Secure Boot principles in modern embedded systems.
- Practical experience with Python.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, RTP, RTSP, FFmpeg, and OpenCV.
- Skills in low-power device design.
- Proficiency in soldering and using measurement equipment.
