M&M Software GmbH is seeking a passionate Bachelorand to join our team as an Embedded Linux Security Intern. This role is ideal for career starters in Development & Consulting and is based in St. Georgen im Schwarzwald or Hannover.
What You Will Do
From industrial control systems to smart coffee machines: Embedded Linux is in countless connected products. These systems are lean, efficient, and tailored to their hardware. However, this brings unique challenges for cybersecurity.
Are you eager to delve into the security of embedded systems and apply theoretical concepts in practical investigations? Then make Embedded Linux Security the focus of your Bachelor thesis with us.
- You will investigate typical security risks of Embedded Linux systems
- You will analyze and evaluate various security concepts and hardening measures
- You will identify the unique security challenges of Embedded Linux compared to traditional Linux distributions
- You will connect theoretical foundations with practical investigations
- You will engage deeply with current issues around the cybersecurity of connected products
Your Tools for Everyday Work at M&M
- Studies in Informatik, Technischen Informatik, Cyber Security or a comparable field
- Interest in IT-Security, Embedded Systems, and Linux
- Ideally, initial experience with Linux or Embedded Linux
- Interest in technologies and topics such as Yocto and Hardening
- Enjoyment in analyzing technical relationships and independently diving into new topics
