Are you the rare hybrid who can seamlessly translate between business and tech? Xebia Group is looking for an Engagement Lead in Data & AI to join our team in Eindhoven. This role is for someone who can lead multi-year data strategies, understand technical conversations, and manage complex client engagements.

Responsibilities

As an Engagement Lead, you will:

  • Own the client relationship at executive and C-suite level, leading steering committees and framing strategic choices.
  • Shape the data & AI strategy alongside the client, translating ambition into a feasible roadmap.
  • Lead delivery of the engagement, managing scope, budget, and coordinating across teams.
  • Stay close to the technology, particularly around the Microsoft data stack (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Synapse).
  • Work with our delivery practice to staff the engagement, manage risk, and ensure project health.
  • Represent Xebia Data in the wider account, spotting opportunities and growing the partnership.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years in consulting, data, or strategy roles with experience in leading client engagements.
  • Proven C-suite presence: experience in leading conversations with CIOs, CDOs, CFOs, and leadership teams.
  • Strong project & program management skills.
  • Solid grounding in data & AI: understanding of the modern data stack and experience with the Microsoft / Azure ecosystem (especially Microsoft Fabric).
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to move between high-level and detailed views.
  • Excellent English and Dutch communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, AWS, and willingness to ramp on Microsoft Fabric.
