About the Position

Engenheiro de Manufatura – Fabricação de materiais compósitos

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in the fabrication of composite materials to join our team in the aeronautics sector.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks related to the industrialization of composite parts.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for composite materials.
• Contribute to the creation and management of the industrialization plan, in collaboration with program management.
• Ensure the creation and maintenance of a PFMEA.
• Create documentation, process records, and alterations according to the quality policy and the implemented configuration management system.
• Perform technical evaluations and process control of suppliers.
• Conduct FAI (First Article Inspection).
• Execute FPQ (First Part Qualification).
• Execute Test Plans.
• Develop control plans.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing and industrialization processes.
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency through automation.
• Engage in R&D, staying updated on new materials, technologies, and techniques to continuously improve processes and products.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Mechatronics, Aeronautics, or similar.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the industrialization/production of composite parts, preferably in an aeronautical OEM or tier-1 supplier.
• Proficiency in some composite manufacturing processes (e.g., manual lamination, automatic lamination, RTM, curing, etc.) (mandatory).
• Experience in Process Risk Analysis (preferred).
• Knowledge of GD&T (preferred).
• Advanced level of English (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of SAP/ERP (preferred).
• Proficiency in the following software: Catia, Enovia VPM, Delmia (preferred).
• Analytical reasoning, autonomy, ability to work in a team, assertive communication, and resilience.
