About the Position
Engineer, DevOps - Vendor Management
Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
We are seeking a technically credible and highly organized DevOps Engineer for Vendor Management to join our Infrastructure team in Noida, India. You will manage the day-to-day operations of our technology vendors across cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, SaaS, observability, networking, and managed services.
Responsibilities
- Operational Governance: Support Order Form, Purchase Order, PoCs, SoWs, transition planning, and vendor lifecycle management. Maintain risk registers, domain inventory, and renewal calendars.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare concise, decision-ready reports for engineering and leadership teams, coordinate vendor meetings, and ensure timely escalation of operational risks and issues.
- Vendor Operations: Act as the primary operational contact for assigned technology vendors, coordinate onboarding, service reviews, SLA/KPI tracking, renewals, operational escalations, and prepare inputs for strategic vendor meetings.
- Technical Evaluation: Review architecture diagrams, monitoring dashboards, performance trends, and RCA reports to assess vendor performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Commercial & FinOps Support: Analyze cloud consumption, license utilization, invoices, pricing benchmarks, and total cost of ownership. Maintain vendor spend, renewal forecasts, and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Technical Cloud Background: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP), and familiarity with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services, reliability, observability, and service delivery.
- Vendor & Service Management: Experience with vendor governance, SLA/KPI management, service reviews, renewals, and operational lifecycle management.
- Analytical and Commercial Ability: Able to review logs, dashboards, performance trends, and invoices. Understands license utilization, cost tracking, concentration risk, and security/compliance dependencies, and presents evidence-based recommendations.
- Communication and Documentation: Excellent written and verbal English communication, able to run vendor and stakeholder meetings, and translate technical issues into business impact. High precision in maintaining vendor records, action logs, cost tracking, and renewal calendars.
