About this Role

At CloudWalk, we are looking for an Engineer - Ecommerce to join our team in Brasil, BR. This is a FULL_TIME position.

Responsibilities

Own features end-to-end: from discovery and design through production, monitoring, and iteration
Build and evolve customer-facing ecommerce products across Payment Links, Billing Management, Online Store, and External/Embedded Checkout
Work full stack across frontend, backend, APIs, and payment integrations
Ship fast, reliable checkout experiences that merchants and end customers trust
Design and maintain APIs and SDKs so merchants and partners can embed InfinitePay
Operate high-volume systems with strong reliability, performance, observability, security, and developer experience
Partner closely with Product, Design, Data, Risk, and other engineering teams

Requirements

Ecommerce, checkout, billing, or payments experience
Brazilian payments ecosystem (Pix, cards, installments, acquiring)
PCI awareness
Public APIs and SDKs
High-traffic systems
Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript/TypeScript

Nice to Have

Experience building full-stack web products in production and delivering features end-to-end on your own
Solid experience with APIs and distributed systems
Modern frontend skills and strong UX sense for customer-facing products
Cloud experience on GCP or AWS in critical systems
Relational databases, caching, async processing, and scalable architecture
Strong fundamentals in testing, observability, performance, reliability, and security
Product mindset and ownership when problems are ambiguous
Clear communication and Advanced English (multinational team)
