About the Position
Engineering Manager
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our team of full stack engineers at Cosuno, based in Berlin or remotely. You will balance hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities, shaping our architecture and elevating our team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of full stack and AI/ML engineers, providing coaching, 1:1s, growth plans, and hiring.
- Own the delivery and technical quality of your team's roadmap, collaborating closely with the Product Manager.
- Contribute hands-on to our TypeScript stack (React + Node), from designing features to reviewing pull requests.
- Raise the team's technical bar through code reviews, architectural guidance, and best practices.
- Partner with engineering leadership on team topology, processes, and the technical direction of our platform.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable web applications.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with the ability to reason about the entire stack.
- Leadership experience, whether as an Engineering Manager, team lead, or senior tech lead.
- A genuine desire to keep coding, with 60–80% hands-on work.
- A passion for growing people and providing honest feedback.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

- Understanding of building LLM-based applications or ML algorithms.
