Our ambition in India means that we are building a new strong Dev & IT team to supplement our great software development organization and as an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading big data platform development teams to deliver on the product roadmap along with stakeholder management. You will be responsible for hiring and onboarding of new team members and developing career plans for team members.

• Set direction and ensure delivery of products and services
• Guide specialists to execute roadmap items
• Ensure delivery quality against agreed metrics
• Support Scrum practices
• Promote engineering best practices and transparent communication
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) within the team to improve engineering velocity, code quality, and delivery efficiency
• Foster motivation, engagement, and cross-organizational collaboration

Requirements

• Overall 10+ years of experience in software development industry as technical contributor
• 2-3+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams
• Able to understand technical topics/terminologies of Java/Scala Stream processing, ETL, Backend API
• Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus
• Must have worked on microservices architecture
• Ability to provide technical guidance to development team during solution implementation
• Hands-on user of AI-assisted/agentic development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot) with experience encouraging and guiding adoption across a team
