Engineering Manager, Capital

About the Position

We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Capital to join our team in San Francisco. At Adyen, we provide payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. Our Capital product is the next growth frontier as we grow into a comprehensive financial service provider beyond Payments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Roadmap: Develop and execute the technical roadmap for expanding the richness of our Issuing proposition globally.
• Technical Authority and Excellence: Act as a technical leader and domain expert for Issuing, ensuring an exceptionally high technical bar.
• People & Performance: Coach, mentor, and build a high-performing team from the ground up.
• Execution & Ownership: Work closely with Product Managers to manage project goals and timelines.
• Client & Product Focus: Maintain a strong product mindset, understanding our clients' needs and the broader market landscape.

Requirements

• People Leadership: 3+ years of experience in people management.
• Technical Depth: In-depth knowledge of building and scaling a world-class, API-based financial service.
• Execution Mindset: Strong execution skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management.
• Collaboration & Influence: Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners.
• Customer Care: Deeply care about the customer experience and take pride in delivering a delightful experience.

We Offer

• Compensation: Annual base salary range of $250,000 - $293,000.
• Benefits: Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.
