About the Position
Engineering Manager – DevOps/SRE IRC294669
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for DevOps/SRE to join our team. This role is pivotal in leading ITSM and application support teams within a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for ITSM and application support.
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of ITSM solutions and application support initiatives.
- Oversee the strategic design, implementation, and continuous optimization of ITSM processes and tools.
- Guide and empower team members in troubleshooting complex application issues.
- Establish, enforce, and continuously refine best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate strategically with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application performance and robust support.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for ITSM and application support.
- Manage the operational aspects of cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure the effective utilization and evolution of .NET technologies within supported applications.
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for ITSM and application support.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Implement and oversee robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Requirements
- Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in engineering management.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership in managing and optimizing AWS cloud services.
- Proven expertise in leveraging ServiceNow for comprehensive service delivery management.
- Extensive experience with .NET development and architecture.
- Strong leadership in implementing and managing containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, AKS, and Docker.
- Deep understanding and practical application of various ITSM tools and methodologies.
