Role Overview

We are on the lookout for an Engineering Manager to lead our international development team, build a high-quality product for our customers, and optimise and exceed the team's productivity and personal development.

To thrive in this role, strong technical skills are essential, but just as important is the ability to lead by example, connect with others, and inspire and motivate your team.


Responsibilities

  • Maximise team performance by leading and developing a strong engineering team through clear expectations, regular feedback, coaching, and career development plans. Foster their engagement, well-being, and growth in a supportive environment that aligns with team and company goals.
  • Support the team in executing the company's product roadmap, ensuring the high quality and timely delivery of top-notch features and improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand business goals, customer needs, and market trends. Take the lead on crucial technical projects and initiatives that are pivotal to the company's success.
  • Manage budgets for teams and control running costs while ensuring operational excellence.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, QA, and DevOps, to ensure smooth end-to-end product development and deployment processes.
  • Cultivate a data-driven decision-making environment, establish and monitor quality indicators and measurements to uphold product quality, and drive continuous improvement across engineering teams.
  • Encourage innovation and experimentation in the engineering team. Continuously improve development processes for greater efficiency and agility.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, building and leading high-performing development teams.
  • Agile mindset in software development and experience managing agile teams and educating teams about agile principles.
  • Experience in implementing processes and tools (AI-powered) to accelerate development and improve quality.
  • You are positive and committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible and collaborative approach.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

  • Having previous experience working for successful tech companies.
  • Proven experience in building high-quality and scalable web applications.
  • Experience in driving AI transformation initiatives in the productivity field.
