About the Team
The Infrastructure team at RozetkaPay is responsible for developing product solutions, scaling services, and maintaining the stability of all technical processes. The focus is on building efficient workflows, improving architecture, and coordinating teams for timely project delivery with high quality and reliability.
The team is expanding and looking for an Engineering Manager to help develop technical strategy, form project groups, coordinate project teams, and implement changes that improve process efficiency and product scalability-from planning and delivery to team development and improving internal processes.
Our main stack: Golang, Node.js, GCP, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, OpenSearch, Temporal.
In this role, you will work directly with CTO RozetkaPay, Oleksandr Tarasenko.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of Teams and Tech Leads: Organizing the work of engineering and project groups, facilitating decision-making, and resolving complex technical issues.
- Participation in Technical Strategy Formation: Developing long-term and short-term technical visions, implementing changes to improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency of products.
- Process and Delivery Optimization: Improving workflows, monitoring project execution on time and with high quality, maintaining architecture and code stability.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Working with business, C-level, DevOps, QA, and security teams to align priorities, manage expectations, and ensure transparent communication.
- Supporting Team Development: Creating a culture of initiative and proactivity, helping develop professional skills.
- Risk and Product Quality Management: Identifying technical and process risks, ensuring high standards of product security, stability, and compliance with requirements.
Requirements
- Strong technical background (ideally in Golang and Node.js) and a deep understanding of complex architectures.
- Minimum of 3 years in a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager role (or similar roles with impact on results).
- Experience in coordinating technical teams and facilitating solutions without direct management-ability to lead teams to consensus.
- Proactivity and drive for change: not afraid to propose new approaches, optimize processes, and advocate for ideas.
- Analytical and data-driven approach: attention to metrics, team efficiency, and risk management, ability to make informed decisions.
- Experience in product or fintech companies and understanding of the product lifecycle from idea to support.
- Product vision: understanding how technical solutions impact users and business, and using this to drive product development.
- AI-friendly mindset with the ability to apply modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and automation to optimize processes and create a competitive advantage for the product.
- Effective stakeholder interaction: business, C-level, and technical teams.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to influence the implementation of technical strategy through teams while supporting their development and autonomy.
